It is the oldest comfort we know: clean, herbaceous and quietly calming, with a soft honeyed warmth as it settles. Whipped into rich butter, it leaves skin soothed, softened, and gently perfumed.
The Ritual
Scoop a small amount and warm between your fingertips until it melts to silk. Massage into skin after bathing, paying devotion to elbows, knees, and anywhere that thirsts. Loveliest of all before sleep — lavender was always meant for the end of the day.
