Cedarwood opens dry and warm — the wood of temples and old chests, quietly grounding. Myrrh rises through it, ancient and resinous, the tear of a desert tree burned in sacred rites for three thousand years and carried once as a gift for kings. Tonka draws the veil closed: dark, almond-soft and faintly sweet, the bean once worn as a charm against misfortune. Whipped into rich butter, it settles on skin like incense caught in fabric.
The Ritual
Scoop a small amount and warm between your fingertips until it melts to silk. Massage into skin after bathing, paying devotion to elbows, knees, and anywhere that thirsts. Best applied slowly — pleasure is never rushed.
