Jasmine unfurls first — the flower that blooms by night, picked before dawn while its scent is at its most intoxicating, sacred to lovers and poets alike. Ylang ylang follows, the golden “flower of flowers” strewn across marriage beds in the islands, lush and faintly banana-sweet. Cedarwood grounds them both — dry, resinous, the smell of warm bark holding the whole garden together. Whipped into rich butter, it leaves skin softly narcotic and glowing.

The Ritual

Scoop a small amount and warm between your fingertips until it melts to silk. Massage into skin after bathing, paying devotion to elbows, knees, and anywhere that thirsts. Best applied slowly — pleasure is never rushed.
